Amethyst

Amethyst gemstone is a type of quartz or colored rock crystals containing silica. Transparent purple in the form, it is one of the most loved colored stones in the world. Oriental amethyst or violet sapphire contains alumina, while other contains violone, silicate of aluminum or lithium. It is a type of corundum and is similar to ruby stones or sapphire in properties. The value of Amethyst is measured by its color as it contains manganese oxide. The stone will be as expensive as the deepness of its colors.
