It is also known as the 'gemstone of the rainbow'. The name “tourmaline” is derived the words 'tura mali' which means 'stone with mixed colors' in Singhalese referring to color spectrum of the stone. The spectrum of Tourmaline is better than all the other stones. Every tourmaline stone has two more colors in it and it changes color when put under artificial lighting.
